JumpTargetPrivate lessons

These are 1 hour lessons for up to 6 people, preferably of the same ability. If you prefer to learn privately with your instructor or within a small group of friends this type of lesson is for you. It is also ideal for complete beginners, or If you're a nervous skier or apprehensive in any way

For those of you who are more competent skiers we can provide technical analysis or intensive training at a higher level.

JumpTargetBeginners courses

Our own CCSC style introduction to skiing. These courses are probably the most cost effective way for a novice to gain confidence and learn those all important basic skills. They consist of 4 one and a half hour lessons, the minimum group size is 5 and the maximum is 12. If you're out to meet new people and want to learn from watching others this would be an ideal option. Sorry, but we have a minimum age limit of 12 years on beginners courses.

JumpTargetSnowboarding

If boarding's your thing or you want it to be, then here's what we can do. Snowboard tuition requires a "hands on" style, our lessons therefore cater for a maximum of five people. Again they should all be of a similar ability.

JumpTargetOpen practice

An opportunity to practice all those new techniques or just have some fun. Open Practice is available on Saturday afternoons between 4.30pm and 6.30pm during the winter (1st September to Easter). It is open to people who are currently having tuition with us or have had tuition with us previously. To attend you will need an Open Practice Passport that your instructor will supply, once you have attained sufficient skill to use the slope safely. The Club reserves the right to remove without refund any persons whom the staff feels are dangerous to themselves or others.

JumpTargetJunior private lessons

Especially for the little kiddos! Little legs get tired quickly and younger minds have a shorter concentration span, so we've devised these half hour sessions for 5-8 year olds. The exclusive tuition places an emphasis on FUN because when the kids enjoy skiing - you will too!

JumpTargetGroup lessons

If there's 7 or more of you who want to learn together we will run a lesson exclusively for you. Our normal high standard of training is available at all levels and pupils can benefit from watching and learning techniques from each other. You'll get the most out of it if all in the group are of a similar standard.
If you are booking for a group, please could you send us everyone's age, height, weight and shoe size details beforehand, using the form below, as it saves both us and you time. Please note that a safety chat and "kitting up" time is included in the lesson, so a 1 hour lesson will not be 1 hour outside skiing.

JumpTargetBirthday parties

Been bowling, taken them to the movies, done the ice-skating? It's time for the ski lesson. It's a "Group Lesson" with as much emphasis, as safely as possible, on FUN! Ideally all the little monst…oops… munchkins should be of the same ability - one beginner, means we are all beginners. Minimum age for parties is 9 years, please call for more details on this. When you do the invitations please ask for height, weight, and shoe size and then use the form below to send them to us, it saves us and you time, thank you. Please note that a safety chat and "kitting up" time is included in the lesson, so a 1 hour lesson will not be 1 hour outside skiing…ask for an extra half hour if this is an issue. Finally, for the over 12s, a snowboarding lesson for a more intimate party of 5 is also a popular option for "gnarly" (whatever that means?) teenagers! Group Details Form
