James James Harrison ASSI, leads
our small team of instructors. A highly experienced and qualified artificial
ski slope instructor, he ensures all teaching is of a high standard and is
geared towards individual needs. James established the ski centre in 1983.
James is keen to share his knowledge and experiences in a relaxed and friendly
manner (watch out for the very dodgy sense of humour).
The rest of the
squad!A
small number of part-time instructors complete the team at the Club. All are
registered with the Snowsport England or Snowsport Scotland, Qualified First Aiders and Salomon
Rental Technicians, which means your skis will be correctly set up to take
account of your height, weight, age, shoe size and experience. Every instructor
undergoes regular staff training throughout the year from James and many guest
coaches.
All of our instructors aim
to make your lessons fun and easy. We pride ourselves on being sympathetic to
every individual's needs, including the most nervous beginners. We are happy to
let you pick our brains with any questions about equipment, where to go for a
good holiday, what to wear etc. (or the nearest pub)
Bishop
Reindorp?
In 2003 the ski
centre became Christ's College Ski Club, it was formerly the Bishop Reindorp
Ski Centre, named after the school in whose grounds the slope is situated.
